Skard is a fellow author on myDL whose daily posts remind me constantly not to take the things I have for granted. Her words are so candid and unguarded and her observations so bitingly to the point I find her writing captivating despite how ill at ease the subject matter sometimes leaves me feeling. Her blog is at once cautionary and uplifting as it humanizes aspects of life we often try to ignore.
